Lake Ontario is HOT and re-writing the record books with each new season. Spring through fall, Brown Trout weighing 8-10 pounds are commonly taken from these waters. 15-25 pounders are not at all unusual, and occasionally an old lunker will tip the scales
at over 30 pounds!
Our Steelhead, Domestic Rainbows, Lake Trout, and Coho Salmon average 8-10 pounds, but exceed the 20 pound, and even the 30 pound mark more and more often with each passing season.
Then there's the King... once you've hooked into a big Chinook Salmon, you'll have a story to tell for a long time. Averaging 25-30 pounds at four years old, a Chinook is capable of taking 300 yards of line in a single run! 35-40 pounders are not uncommon, and there are some old "hawgs" in the lake near 50 pounds.
Our office and home base is located in Sodus Point, New York. The surrounding landscape here in Wayne County consists of apple orchards, woods, field crops, grassy meadows and marshes. This terrain offers the sportsman and sportswoman excellent hunting opportunities for many types of game. The valleys are cut with streams flowing into Lake Ontario that can provide world-class angling, while Sodus Bay itself is rich with Bass, Pike and Panfish.
The Adirondack region of upstate New York is legendary. We can take you to a wilderness paradise reminiscent of a Hemmingway novel. Thousands of private acres dotted with spring-fed mountain lakes and rivers where you can enjoy nature as it should be.
